WaxJam Records was originally a department inside of another Tim Grant company named EastCoast Projects. Established in 1996. Eastcoast Projects was an A&R based company; where we originally searched for talent; through verious mediums, review demos and live performances of up and coming artists, and made the contact directly to our contacts inside major and independent record companies.

From 1996 to 2007, we have reversed the format of the company, where EastCoast Projectsis now a department inside of the WaxJam Records Company. When EastCoast Projects was the main company; we created a lead library of thousands of artist; by placing ads in local news papers around the country; and artists responded to the ads with their contact info. With the leads we were able to create our own by-weekly news paper; giving us the leverage to interact with the artist who need, and wanted what we had to offer. Which was; demo submittions for evaluation; where we served as an A&R service to the music companies around the country and internationally. If we thought the artist had the potential of what the records companies looked for, then we passed a copy of the demos over to the record company. 

The artist paid a monthly membership fee and recieved their money worth for being a part of the program; talen showcases, where independent and major record companies attend. some got opening act jobs that lead to recording and writing projects. Our job was to get their foot in the door; the rest was up to their management team. Also; through the by-weekly newd paper; we were able to accept ads from other businesses relating to and not relating to the music business, and deliver the news directly to the leads/ artist; which gave the advertisers the way of subscribing to and reading our by=weekly new paper. 

The word spread quickly about the services we offered and businesss took off to unexpected numbers. We operated with that formate for a few years; then the the power of the internet grew and grew and grew; which changed the way we conducted our business. People were truning to the internet for everything, including submiting music, and buying music off the internet. This is when we had to make the necessary changes in the structure of our company; in oder to meet the need of the existing customers and prospects; which lead to WaxJam Records being the primary company.

Now we are able to offer our visitors the vehicle to upload and  download music through MP3 music doload companies. Through Tim Grant Companies, lots of doors have been opened for artists.

Our most recent talent scout project is in full force. Our focuse is geared to publisizing the worlds most popular entertainment brand; and that is The New AMERICAN iDOL UNDERGROUND program. WaxJam's Talent Scout Tim Grant was accepted as an affiliate several months ago, and have since; been re-constructing the image of the place where we do the most business, and that is our website companies; in effort to be in conjunction with the internet competitions that exist on the net. 

The American Idol Underground Program have given up that edge to perform our business in a way we never expected, and is a dream come true to the artists whom we are in relations now and the ones to come.
